The town hall is open from 8 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Town council meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. There are zoning regulations in effect and building permits and dog licenses are required. For ongoing information please check the Baggs Council News page.
Our small community of 440 people enjoy the best of all worlds with Medicine Bow National Forest to our east and the desert containing wild horses on the west. We are located on the Little Snake River. HISTORY OF Little Snake River Valley(click)

Post Office Window Hours : 7:30 am to 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm daily. Sat. 9:30 to 11:30 am. New postage rates effective Jan 27, 2013 are on the community page (click).
LSR Valley Community Center has a new website -- see link at left
The Snake River Lion's Club Rodeo is held every July July 6th and 7th, 2013---7:30pm start on Sat and 8am for slack on Sun., with 1:00pm rodeo start and fun days to follow. at the Russell Community Park. The Events Center at the Park is used for regularly scheduled roping and horsemanship events.
Baggs Solid Waste Disposal District is open 8 am to 4 pm MST Mon. through Sat. (winter hours) and 8 am to 6 pm MDT (summer hours). NO DUMPING OF BURNED GARBAGE INTO BALER BUILDING. Landfill will no longer accept trailer houses or camper trailers. Will also not accept tires still on the rims. Closed Jan-New Years Day' Jan-Equality Day; Feb-President's Day; May-Memorial Day; July-Independence Day; September-Labor Day; November-Veteran's Day; November-Thanksgiving and Friday after, December-Christmas Day. 383-7678
The Town has a RV dump near the town hall, available at a $10 charge. This service is only available during regular office hours. RV dumping only! Violators will be prosecuted! A public restroom also near the town hall is open until freezing weather forces closure.
Little Rascals Preschool is open Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 5:30pm. We take children 6weeks - 12 yrs old. Preschool for children 4-5 years old is on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday's from 8:30 - 11:30 am. Playschool for children 3-4 years old is on Monday's from 8:30 - 11:30am. Little Rascals and Project Reach in Rawlins offer Developmental screening for all children free of cost. We also work with the Department of Family Services out of Rawlins with child care assistance for qualified families. For more information call Kyla Otte at 383-7300.
LSRV Branch Library in Baggs is open: NEW HOURS BEGIN Sept. 1, 2011 - MONDAY 1 to 6 pm, TUESDAY 9:00 to 2:00 pm, WEDNESDAY 1 to 6 pm, THURSDAY 9:00 to 2:00 pm, FRIDAY Closed County Libraries website - click. To see a list of available books click here. Call 383-7323 for information about programs.
Friends of the Library meet for a potluck luncheon on the second Thursday of every month at 11:30 EAT AT 12:00. All are invited.
Wyoming Drivers Licenses testing is available at the Library 10:00am to 2:45pm the first Thurs every other month (Feb. Apr Jun. Aug. Oct. Dec.) New rules papers required to take with you on WYDOT home page (click). Per people who have renewed - if using your birth certificate and your name has changed, proof of that is also required (marriage certificate, legal name change, etc.,) . Passport works.

LSRV Conservation District office hours are 8 - 5:00 weekdays.
LSRV Museum click here for website in Savery is open in the summer. Summer hours from Memorial Day until late October are 10 am to 5 pm daily. The downstairs community room is available year round with reservations.

Artisans Group meets on the second Wednesday of the month at the Commu7nity Ed Building or Historic St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Baggs.
