All of the NWSS Cattle dog events were held in the stock yards outside. The NWSS held a cattledog sale on 1/21/10, results below. There was a USBCHA sanctioned open cattle dog trial held on 1/22 with a total of 40 dogs entered and the top 20 dogs went to the finals on Saturday, 1/23. There the top 5 handler/dogs are given ribbons and earnings. The Grand Champion gets a belt buckle also.

Jim & Patti Chant at the NWSS stock yards cattle dog trial held 1/22 & 1/23/2010.Jim is the Cattle Dog Trial superintendent and Patti does all the paper work and web site, www.crbordercollies.com. Patti ran her dog Dixie who was 11th place in both Friday & Saturday,(the finals) trials. Jim ran his dog Queenie and was 23rd place on Friday so he just missed going to the finals as only the top 20 dogs went.

Travis Weber, of Baggs, WY. Won the Year End New Mexico Rodeo Association Bull Riding Title. Travis went in as the number one bull rider in New Mexico and after two days of competition came out the champion. Travis received a saddle and belt buckle. The finals took place in Belen, New Mexico.
The week before Travis earned his way to the Colorado Professional Rodeo Association Finals that were held in Grand Jct. CO. Travis ended up 2nd overall.
Travis will be attending the Wyoming Finals in November where he is seated at number four.

You can change your password on-line using the webmail portal, http://webmail.dteworld.com and selecting the Account Manager Center link in the lower left hand margin of the screen. Once the page opens select the Change Password option and follow the prompts.
