Ladies Salad Luncheons at the Little Snake River Museum the 3rd Thursdays of each Month.
October the luncheons will change to soup luncheons through the winter.
April will begin the salad luncheons again.
MEMORIAL DAY EVENTS --This will be a yearly event!
Frontier Day events included Mountain Man demonstration by Bob and Steve Golden and gold mining by Dave Allen and Dennis Shorma. Dorothy Wilson, Rusty Cobb and Connie Spicer, performed as school teachers and gave tours of the Hays House. Agnes Stocks, Rosa Lee Golden and Joy Price displayed their art work. Ray Weber talked about the brown house in which he was born. Joe Jussila brought his donkey and Michelle Duncan demonstrated how to milk a cow! Helen Morgan provided the story of Jim Baker as well as autographed her books, Snake River Profiles. Saturday night 78 people attended the street dance by Down Home Country. On Sunday, cowboy poets Chuck Larson and Sharon O'Toole performed during the Memorial Day Picnic. Shelby McKee and Natalie Duncan performed their history day project "Helen Keller".
